The high-density polyethylene short joint inner lining process is carried out without excavating the road surface. It utilizes two adjacent inspection wells for construction, using the pipe section to be repaired as the carrier. Polyethylene short joints with specially cut pipe openings are installed section by section into the pipe section to be repaired.

The high-density polyethylene short joint inner lining process is carried out without excavating the road surface. It utilizes two adjacent inspection wells for construction, using the pipe section to be repaired as the carrier. Polyethylene short joints with specially cut pipe openings are installed section by section into the pipe section to be repaired. The short pipes are connected through collision. After the interface between the pipe section to be repaired and the HDPE pipe is sealed, grouting is performed in the gap between the HDPE pipe and the original pipe to achieve the purpose of fixing the lining. 
Pipeline cleaning and inspection → Installation of high-density polyethylene short section pipe linings → Port treatment → Grouting for filling gaps in the lined pipes.
